My first journal in nearly a year. Didn't go to Portcon last year either. Not sure if I will this year, either. Maybe I will if they have guest autographs. I turn 30 this year. Holy fuck, I've been alive for that long? I sure as fuck don't look it, that's for sure. I guess that's a good thing? So I wrote a bit more. Tried writing stuff a little more 'taboo', so to speak, and I think it went all right. Also did my first stories with mixed couples and I think those went all right as well. Still trying to improve, though. I need to write for my male stripper OC's again, but most of them have left the profession due to the pandemic, getting normal jobs like insurance agent and realtor. Started reading Twittering Birds Never Fly and I have to say, it's rather interesting. There's some homophobic language and non-con scenes, although I will say that the main character's addiction to sex seems realistic, since survivors of that type of abuse can develop such an addiction or develop an

Happy 2021!

It felt weird not going to Portcon last year, but what can ya do? Hopefully, Portcon happens this year, but I have my doubts. Almost entirely caught up on Vinland Saga. Well, sort of. I have up to volume 10, so I just need to get volume 11 and volume 12 when it comes out. The books are $23 now, which is pretty pricey for me. So, doubt I'll be getting them any time soon. Plus, I can't find them at any bookstore, so I'm forced to get them on Amazon. I also got the long awaited 3rd volume of the manga series "Coyote" and it was well worth the wait. Can't believe I'm this emotionally invested in a manga about a werewolf being in love with a human. Still reading Jealousy and it seems to be getting better with each volume. Then again, it hasn't been disappointing yet. Can't wait for volume 4 to come out at the end of the summer. I thought that I had a huge crush on Tatsuyuki (from "Fourth Generation Head Tatsuyuki Oyamoto"), but now? Oh boy, I think I like his dad Akitora more!
